The Boundary Museum and Community Archives are dependent on our volunteers for the operation of our museum. Volunteering is a great way to gain experience in a non-profit museum and archival setting. Our volunteers range in age and expertise, and we will aim to find a role for you.
Roles at our Museum include:
Archival Assistant: Help our archivist with projects and maintenance of the archives.
Tour Guide: Greet our museum visitors and share your passion for local history by providing tours.
Handy Person: If you are handy with tools, there are always ongoing projects at the museum.
Office Assistant: Utilize your office and organizational skills by assisting our administration.
Board: Our Museum Board is a dedicated group of individuals who oversee the museum, please consider joining our board, must be a paid member.
Bread Program: If you have a baking knack, or are an early riser, we always need more individuals who are willing to come and learn how to light the historic bread oven.
Some volunteer jobs require a weekly commitment. Some volunteer jobs come up once a month. We make every effort to find the volunteer job that suits you best.
