Together We Heal

Together We Heal

May 4, 2020 0 By April Anderson

It’s Giving Tuesday, a global generosity movement. The Boundary Museum Society is rallying our community for #GivingTuesdayNow.

While our doors have been closed to the public during the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been working hard behind-the-scenes on programming for when we get to open  our doors to welcome you back into History.

At the Boundary Museum & Interpretive Centre, we are thrilled to be putting together Outreach Kits for students and seniors in our community to support engaging interaction with the past that has shaped the world we know today.

We are also excited to be creating a brand-new exhibit, at our heritage site, honouring our local firefighters. Opening day has sadly been delayed. We are delighted to be making this exhibit a Grand Opening an event to rally our community in support of our volunteer heroes of the Grand Forks Volunteer Firefighter Association in May 2021.

As a grass-roots non-profit society, the unexpected closures of the Boundary Museum & Interpretive Centre and the Boundary Community Archives has set back our budget in a big way. Your generous support now will help us to continue to support our community with exhibits, festivals, programs, workshops, outreach, and education in the months and years to come.
